Comprehensive sanding and polishing system for painted surfaces

Duetto works effectively with both soft or interface backing pads when paired with micro-abrasives for defect correction, as well as with foam polishing pads and compounds during the polishing stage. Extensive research into random orbital dynamics and thorough testing led to the selection of a 12mm orbit for Duetto. This orbit length significantly enhances the surface rectification capabilities of the latest generation of microabrasive discs. The pairing of Duetto and microabrasives is particularly effective in smoothing out orange peel or major flaws. The finish achieved with this combination is uniform and predictable, with no deep sanding marks.

The use of microabrasive discs to rectify serious defects creates a surface that is easily polished, drastically reducing the overall duration of the complete correction process. Duetto is designed to be well-balanced and low in vibration, allowing the operator to easily control the sanding process by simply guiding Duetto across the surface. This efficient control by the operator minimizes the risk of creating rough and uneven surfaces that would necessitate time-consuming reworking.

Duetto is equipped with several design features that make it particularly user-friendly.
The anti-spinning device decreases the likelihood of operator mistakes, even for inexperienced technicians. The front hand grip enables the operator to position their hand at the tool's virtual balance center, minimizing vibration.
The electronic module features built-in torque control, which lessens the need for the operator to exert significant downward pressure. Another exceptional feature of Duetto is the rubber support, which permits the operator to place Duetto on a workbench without the abrasive disc making contact with a surface that may have contaminants that could be transferred to the workpiece during sanding.
