C1 Crystal Lacquer is a nano-active quartz coating that binds to the paintwork of the vehicle to form a new protective layer, delivering exceptional gloss, UV protection, and swirl resistance. This film acts as a barrier between the elements and the vehicle’s surface, offering remarkable protection and gloss longevity.  C1 should be utilized as a base coat and can be "stacked" with a top coat of either EXO or C2v3. Recommended for use on all painted surfaces, including matte finishes, vinyl wraps, and headlights.

Application Information

C1 Crystal Lacquer

• Ensure that the surface is cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight.

• Always wear latex gloves when applying C1 to avoid skin contact.

• Apply product to the application pad.

• Replace the lid on the bottle and set it aside to prevent premature curing.

• Change the pad after 3 to 4 applications in areas no larger than half a car hood – if the pad isn’t changed frequently enough, the coating will become sticky when applied, making buffing extremely challenging. C1 can also be applied using a microfiber sponge. One sponge can cover an entire vehicle. Be cautious not to use a microfiber sponge if it has hardened with dried C1.

• The coating creates almost immediate reactions with the paint/grp molecules it contacts. Reaction times vary with temperature and humidity: at normal room temperature and approximately 50% humidity, buff between 30 and 60 seconds afterwards.

• Buffing the same area may require several passes to eliminate residue. Use two microfiber cloths simultaneously. Note that this is only for the removal of excess product; avoid buffing with excessive force as this can mar the surface and drag the partially cured coating off.

• When applying C1 to large surfaces like a car roof, always start on one side and immediately follow with the other to join wet edges.

• Be sure to quickly rotate the microfiber cloths to ensure C1 doesn’t partially cure in the cloth, which will complicate residue buffing.

• If any residue is overlooked and cures completely, re-polish the area and then reapply C1.

• As soon as you finish applying C1, place the microfibers in water and wash and tumble dry them as soon as possible; otherwise, C1 will crystallize on the cloth, rendering it unusable.
